Austin International Dual Meter Lamp
Our new Dual Meter Lamp compares the energy consumption for an incandescent bulb to that of a fluorescent bulb. The lamp housing is made from 16 gauge steel which is powder coated in green. There is a normally open toggle switch located at the bottom of the lamp base that switches between the two bulbs. The lamp is built very rugged so it can be placed in high traffic areas like store aisles, collections offices and at trade shows. It clearly demonstrates how much more energy efficient fluorescent bulbs are than incandescent. We have removed half of the drag magnet which makes the disk turn faster, but still shows the relationship to energy consumption.
